    Position Overview: We are seeking compassionate and skilled Contract Nurses (LPN/RN) to provide exceptional care at various long-term care and skilled nursing facilities.     Responsibilities:

    Qualifications:

    • Current and valid Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.

    • Previous experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, or a similar healthcare setting is preferred.

    • Strong clinical and critical thinking skills.

    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

    • Compassionate, patient-centered approach to care.

    • Flexibility to work various shifts (including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required).

    • Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening.

    DON Position Summary

    The Director of Nursing is responsible for organizing, implementing, and directing the daily operations of the clinical department in accordance with state and federal regulations. Their leadership role includes the following responsibilities:

    • Participate in management team meetings related to census, resident care plans, complaints, and concerns as well as QAPI and facility assessments.

    • Evaluate work performance of all nursing personnel and discipline according to operational policies.

    • Oversees nursing schedules, participates in recruitment, hiring and termination of nursing personnel, and monitors the infection control program.

    • Ensure resident incidents and concerns that rise to a reportable event are reported to the correct entity within the state regulatory requirements.

    • Maintain confidentiality of protected health information, including verbal, written and electronic communications.

    DON Requirements

    • Current unrestricted RN license in practicing state

    • Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a supervisor in a hospital, nursing home or other related healthcare facility

    • Current CPR certification

    • Knowledgeable of nursing and medical practices as well as long-term care regulations
